Omelet Shoppe

Not sure what opened first, but let's say this place feels like a retro waffle house with better food. Prices were surprisingly low but it seems like this is the local place so they take care of their people. Very kind staff and overall a great atmosphere to start your morning.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Beckley and that’s a lot because I’m fat. Molly and Destiny did a fantastic job waiting on us and the cook that looks like he’s from Sons of Anarchy was cool too. I recommend this place to all of my friends when they pass through town and they are never disappointed. I also think this place is cooking eggs on a more hibachi type grill than anything over at Fugijama or whatever the place called is called across the street. A truly great egg restaurant with a wonderful Japanese ambiance (imagine Benihanas take on a Waffle House). Thank you for your service!

The food was excellent, the omelets in particular were heavenly fluffy. The service was prompt and polite. The prices were reasonable. The coffee was very good. I would go here again

Omelet Shoppe – A Little Slice of Road-Trip Americana There isn’t much in Beckley when it comes to very early breakfast before hiking New River Gorge NP, so we picked Omelet Shoppe mostly because it was a few blocks from the hotel and, honestly, how wrong can you go with eggs and bacon? Turns out: wonderfully right. This diner is pure road-trip gold, the kind of place where time slows down just enough for the coffee to taste better. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, greeting locals with hugs, warm questions about their families, and the kind of genuine familiarity that makes you wonder if you’ve accidentally walked into a reunion. And somehow, they made us feel like we were long-lost regulars too. It was all very wholesome and slightly magical. The food was simple, satisfying, exactly what breakfast should be when you’re about to climb, wander, and sweat your way through a national park. So good, in fact, that we came back every single morning. Because why mess with perfection? A true little gem, comforting, unpretentious, and warm in all the right ways.

The atmosphere was cozy, friendly and comfortable. Somewhat dated, bathroom could have used a good cleaning. Food was good, the cook got my eggs correct, but they had Belgium style waffles and I was expecting a "waffle house" style. Was still a good experience. There were plenty of free parking and handicapped directly in front of the door. The door was not handicapped capable though. Wide enough but very tight. The waitress was very friendly, attentive and helpful. I would recommend this establishment for any meal, oh and they serve breakfast all day!!! Always a plus in my book.

Great service. Good & quick food everytime & whatever time we go. Always stop if we are in the neighborhood. Upon occasion, we just make a special trip cuz we feel like it.

We are always coming back to the ol’ Omelette Shoppe! It’s a local favorite for me! The food is always delicious and, in the area, you can’t beat this service! Not a day of the week that I would refuse heading in to this diamond in the rough!

One of the best places that I had ever had a nice meal. simple and subtle and looks, unique and unforgettable experience, great service and these people know or have their own way in showing how a simple meal can taste great. It is the first time I have ever got the chance to have Eggs Benedict, and these guys made it memorable.
